In October 2004, LMS bought the panel management company 1st Survey in order to provide condition
reports to the housing market. Upon acquisition it was rebranded as LMS Survey & Valuations (LMS S&V).
By January 2007 we had built an energy division with an infrastructure to deal with over 300,000 EPC
instructions per year and 50,000 survey and valuation instructions.
This new division was renamed ERS at the end of 2007.
Today ERS is one of the UK’s leading providers of EPCs. Our network of DEA's are able
to cover all postcode areas within England and Wales. In addition to this, we have
relationships with over 200 companies on our DEA panel for any overflow work we may
have and over 2,000 panel members available to carry out survey and valuation instructions.
We’ve built a business that is able to deal with any volume of instructions and can adapt to suit the
requirements the market demands. Our knowledge and experience within a variety of sectors means we
understand the varying challenges and needs of the property market.
Our investment in technology is extensive and, within the EPC market, unique. By using the digital pen
technology of Digital Field Solutions and the work management system of Northgate I.S. we are able to
ensure our EPC instructions are carried out accurately and precisely. From receipt of the instruction
all the way through to completion and upload to the Landmark database, every stage of the process has
a clear and precise audit trail ensuring efficiency and compliance every time. Our use of this
technology and the consistent service levels we are therefore able to achieve means we can work
successfully across the residential property market.

and allows you to keep up-to-date with case progress and view your finished document/s online.
